Show file/playlist/URL link/Page/Document icon on top of an Image which has links

Currently image is static with little indication of linked content. The cursor changes to a hand. It would be great for the relevant icon to show on top of the image, thus helping our members realise it is more than a picture. CASE: My snip shows a 'video' with the play triangle on top and below an image (with a link to a file/video) - which opens up to play on a full page and also shows the overview, comments, attachments. (Media Page > Files - Layout is set to List View.)
