GA4 tag ID vs. Google UA tracking ID

Google Universal Analytics (UA) has been replaced by GA4. GA4 has a tag ID instead of a tracking ID like UA used to have, and it has a different formatting. I can see in Settings that Searchie is only taking old UA tracking IDs, can you let me know when this will change please? I have typed in my new GA4 tag ID anyways but I'd like to know if tracking will still work? Thanks!
