Comments More Prominent

Right now Comments are never prominent -- they're in the second tab (after overview) underneath a video. If we could customize a little bit how/where comments show up, that would allow us to turn it into somewhat of a forum. I think it would be nice to at least have the Comment Field open and ready to be written into, right underneath the video. And underneath could remain the same tabs Overview, Comments, Attachments etc. And if someone uses that Comment Field right underneath the video, upon hitting Enter/Submit, it would open up the Comments tab and their new comment would appear along with the rest of the comments. Now obviously, the ultimate ideal would be to just make more of a regular forum be possible.... or to be able to embed a forum. But I was wondering if this would be an easier workaround to create in the meantime?
