Platform

  • Updated various aspects of the UI throughout the app, including but not limited to: notifications, audience segments, player settings, and media connections

  • Removed SRT and VTT download options for the transcript in the media player- these are still downloadable by the account admin on the back end

  • Fixed an issue that occurred when switching videos in a Playlist if certain player settings were turned off

  • Fixed an issue where audio files would replay in a Playlist before moving to the next video

  • Fixed an issue where the file processing animation would not display correctly


Hubs

Improved Hub Sections (Guide)
  • New Hub sections have been released to simplify and enhance the way you build your Hub

  • Whereas the old Hub sections focused heavily on specific use cases they allowed you to fulfill, these new Hub sections will provide a layout choice that you can fill with any content you desire

Column Sections

(Guide)
  • Hub Column sections have been introduced and enable you to accomplish anything your heart desires inside of your Hub, check out our Guide for a full breakdown of this game-changing addition to your Hub’s capabilities

  • Text, images, and videos are just a few of the many elements that can be added to your columns and implemented in your Hub

  • Any “old” Hub sections will now show a “Legacy indicator” if they are no longer default options in the Hub Editor, check out this article for more information on Legacy Hub Sections

  • You can now also use custom background colours and custom text colours inside of your Hub sections

  • Only Stripe customers with subscription status Cancelled” will be restricted access to Hubs with Stripe products attached

  • Updated the Searchie Payments flow and UI to resolve a variety of issues users experienced when purchasing a Hub product

  • Updated Hub feature descriptions to better reflect functionality

  • Added a “back button” to Hub search results for easier navigation

  • Playlists can now be added to “Grid” sections in order to display them in an infinite vertical scroll on a page

  • Fixed a couple issues with Stripe that resulted in duplicate subscriptions for customers

  • Fixed an issue with progress tracking and the Recently Watched Media section type

  • Fixed an issue where Hub media features would not disappear when not being hovered over

  • Fixed an issue where going to the /login route for a Hub would not redirect users who were already logged into the Hub


To go along with these spotlighted updates, a large number of minor improvements and bug fixes were included in this release across the Platform, Hubs & Extension.
